FAQ

You can look forward to leaving the stuffy confines of a hospital or nursing home unit behind – Able2 RNs work across multiple residential homes where individuals with developmental disabilities live. Because you will be meeting and caring for individuals directly in their homes, you can look forward to the comfort and reward afforded by building lasting relationships with the people you help and support!

Able2 Nurses love their routine, day-time 8am – 4:30pm schedules with overnight and weekend on-call rotations. Able2 values your life outside work, whether it be your family, your goals and hobbies, your friends (and pets!), or all of the above.

Able2 RNs take on-call rotations on a routine basis, participating in occasional overnight and weekend shifts to provide phone triage support.

In a lot of ways, many Able2 RNs feel like their own bosses. Between scheduling their residential home visits, managing case loads of residential care plans, and growing, educating, and leading a team of support positions such as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), this is a position that awards a lot of freedom and space to continuously self-manage, learn, develop your skills, and manage and lead a team.
